Biosphere certificate
The Biosphere Certification applies to more than 400 companies based in Barcelona, joining another 528 from those regions that have adopted new sustainable and respectful business models. In March 2023, Interhome met the necessary requirements, confirming its commitment to the development of sustainable tourism. The Biosphere certificate is renewed annually with new requirements to improve sustainability, which allows us to move forward with creating new projects, adding value and awareness to our company.
We are Swisstainable!
In March 2025, all 16 Swiss Interhome locations were successfully classified by Swisstainable as achieving Level 1 – committed to sustainability. This includes 15 local service offices and our company headquarters in Glattbrugg.
Swisstainable is a Swiss sustainability program launched by the tourism industry for the tourism industry (www.swisstainable.ch). The focus is on the sustainable development of Switzerland as a travel destination.
