Location Description Aars

Small resort with 8'500 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region 24 km from the sea, in the countryside, 45 km south-west from Ålborg, 58 km north-east from Skive, 60 km north-west from Randers. In the resort: supermarket, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, museum. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Stoneage Center Ertebølle 25 km, Aggersborg Viking Ring Fortress 30 km, Fjerritslev Brewery and Regional Museum 37 km, Wellness park Himmerland Resort Gatten 13 km, Kids' club Legeland Viborg 45 km, Fårup Sommerland 70 km, Jesperhus Feriepark 85 km, lakes nearby.

Summer

All watersports available in Trend Strand 24 km. Sandy beach, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 24 km from the resort. Outdoor swimming pool 1 km. Surfing. Golf course 18 hole in Gatten 13 km. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths. At the Liim Fiord you will find tranquil water, fresh air, vast moor landscapes, characteristic nature and a rich animal life. The area offers lovely natural experiences for those, who prefer quiet surroundings, activities, water sport and culture. Experience for instance the moors of Jutland. The moors are especially beautiful in the late summer when the heather is in flower. The hilly fiord landscape has many child-friendly beaches with shallow and calm water, where the young ones can play in the sand or look for amber.

Mulighed for at bruge facilite...

Mulighed for at bruge faciliteterne i Himmerland golf og spa. Man kan komme til sommerhuset med offentlig transport til sommerhuset - bussen fra Hobro holdte lige ude ved den store vej (Det er en vinke strækning). (Vores børn kom selv til sommerhuset med tog og bus fra Aarhus - det var dejligt nemt.

Da jeg boede alene var der plads nok. Pænt og rent. Et godt sommerhus til 8 personer, og til prisen. Havde lidt problemer på grund af skybrud, men det blev løst i godt samarbejde med ejeren. Herligt. Tak.
