Location Description Vestervig

Small resort with 600 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region 4 km from the sea, 35 km south-west from Thisted, 127 km south-west from Ålborg. In Hurup 7 km: supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna at 7 km. Besides: pharmacy 7 km, doctor 200 m. Sights Lodbjerg Lighthouse 10 km, Jesperhus Blomsterpark 47 km, lakes nearby.

Summer

All watersports available in Agger strand. Beach, gently sloping, 4 km from the resort. Sandy beach, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 6 km from the resort. Surfing. Summer sports 5 - 35 km. Golf course 18 hole in Sydthy Golfklub 6 km. Minigolf 4 km. Riding in Vorupør 25 km. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. In north-western Jutland, all the way from Skagen in the north to Agger in the south you can experience some of the finest, whitest and broadest sandy beaches in Northern Europe. Small, picturesque holiday towns are situated all the way along the coast. Some places it is still possible to watch the fishermen as they drag their boats up on the beach, as it has been done for hundreds of years. At Grenen, the northernmost point of Denmark, you can place each of your feet in different oceans, The Skagerak and the Kattegat. Anywhere along the coast you can enjoy some of the most scenic sunsets over the North Sea.

Was positiv ist, dass Haus verfügt über eine Klimaanlage und ist sehr geräumig, was negativ ist, kein WLAN/WIFI, kein KAMIN, ganz kleines Bad und man hört nahezu jedes Wort der direkten Nachbarn....

Beliggenheden er god og fint med det lille ferie center med pool bordtennis og minigolf. Men selve huset trænger virkelig til en kærlig hånd. Tror ikke det er renoveret siden opførsel i slut 70’erne. Ingen opvaskemaskine.Hvis vi benyttede mikrobølger ovnen og egen medbragte kaffemaskine på samme tid sprang sikringerne. Når vi kiggede ind i nogen af de andre huse kunne vi se giver langt mere moderne så dem vil vi booke næste gang i stedet.

Skønt og æstetisk smukt sted. Veludstyret sommerhus. Dog var der et par småting - i det store hele - som vi havde regnet med, og som var oplyst på Sol & Strands hjemmeside: - der var ingen opvaskemaskine - der var ingenparabol, altså kun DR’s kanaler, som er lovpligtige - ingen wi-fi - og, toilettet er utæt, og samler en hel del vand på gulvet
