4-room house 80 m2 on 2 levels. Fully renovated in 2018, very comfortable and tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with dining table and digital TV. 2 small double bedrooms, each room with 1 double bed (135 cm, length 190 cm). 1 room with 1 pull-out bed (1 pers. 2 x 90 cm, length 190 cm). Open kitchen (oven, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer, grill, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC. No heating option. 2 large terraces, south facing position. Terrace furniture. Marvellous view of La Alhambra. Facilities: washing machine, iron, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). VTF/GR/04107

House/Residence

Cave houses are typical and unique properties in Granada. Mainly located in the Sacromonte district (UNESCO heritage), they offer fantastic views to the Alhambra and its gardens. They were specially designed to isolate from the Andulusian summer heat and also the winter cold coming from the Sierra Nevada (closest mountains). Modern, beautiful, very comfortable single-family house "Cueva de Lindaraja", 2 storeys in 2018. In the district of Sacromonte, in a quiet, sunny position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. Private: terrace, garden furniture. Stepped path (20 steps) to the house. Grocery 500 m, restaurant 500 m, bar 100 m, bus stop "Albayzín - Granada Centro" 50 m. Nearby attractions: La Alhambra 2 km, Catedral de Granada 1 km. Please note: car not advisable.

683 m a.s.l. >>Historical town. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. At the foot of the Sierra Nevada, the capital of the last musulman reigns, is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. Of tourist interest: el Albaicin, the old town (protected by UNESCO), el Sacromonte, old trogoldite area with many caves, currently used for many flamenco shows, the impressive arabian palaces of the Alhambra and the Generalife, the cathedral and the chapel. Granada has a lively daily life, with shows, festivals, exhibitions all year round. Also its varied craftwork, with its famous guitar industry and wood work, goldsmith and leather goods.

Superbe logement troglodyte, un vrai bonheur de fraîcheur dans la chaleur estivale ! Idéalement placé pour visiter l'Alhambra et le quartier de l'Albicin. Appartement très bien aménagé avec du charme. Le propriétaire a de nombreuses attentions pour ses hôtes.

Très jolie petite cueva, idéalement située. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par M. avec beaucoup de petites attentions et le logement était très propre. Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas de portes entre les chambres dans une cueva (M. a posé des rideaux pour les séparer), donc pas d'intimité, mais le charme et le côté atypique du logement valent le coup !

We found the cave beautifully kitted out, clean and tidy .. Lovely and cool at the hottest time of year . It would be better to have a signpost at the bottom of the steps on the road as we had to ask directions . I would like to stress though, that if you are not 100% fit this property and area is not for you. Lots of steps , lots of hills, cobblestones and streets inaccessible by car. But beautiful and fascinating all the same . We were quite happy there
