Sights Männlichen, Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Trümmelbachfälle, Schynige Platte, Harder, First. Access: no access to the resort by car, reachable only by railway. The journey is made by rack railway (extra) from Lauterbrunnen. Parking spaces available at the train station.

Met veel genoegen verbleven we 10 dagen in dit comfortable appartement dat op een prachtige centrale locatie in Wengen ligt. Met een balcon vanwaar je direct uitzicht op de Jungfrau en het Lauterbrunnendal hebt. Het aanbrengen van enkele voorzieningen voor valpreventie in de badkamer (zoals antislipmat, veiligheidsbeugels) zou het appartement veiliger kunnen maken voor ouderen.

We family of 4 stayed and very much enjoyed the stay. Its opposite to Wengen station with a mountain view which was amazing and quite handy to use public ransport. Apartment was quite spacious and it had everything which a family would need with added benefit of grocery store next to it. I'd love to come back.

Perfekt lokation lige ved stationen - togene er elektriske så de forstyrrer ikke - og med udsigt lige til Jungfrau. Dejligt at sidde på den lille balkon og nyde udsigten. Et minus er at man ikke kan åbne et vindue i soveværelset og dynerne er varme, når man er der i sommervarmen. For mig var hovedpude 'pølsen' også for høj. Lidt ringe i så dyr en lejlighed, at der ikke følger ekstra WC ruller med! Man kan jo ikke købe færre end 4 i butikkerne! Det er lidt småligt - ligesom manglen på krydderier

Plus: lokatie. Naast station en met direct zicht op de Jungfrau vanaf het balkon. Wengen is een der twee beste bases voor trips in het Berner Oberland, dus dat helpt. Ook best ruim voor 2 personen met 4 personen (opklapbedden in de woonkamer) wordt het krap, ondanks de aparte badkamer en tweede WC. Minus: eigenlijk al het andere. Het is een lichtelijk sleetse bedoening, waar de meeste inventaris 30-40 jaar oud is en je eerder het je eerder het gevoel hebt bij een huisjesmelker...

Wunderbar zentral gelegene Ferienwohnung. Praktisch eingerichtet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Sehr toll fanden wir die Verfügbare Handseife, Abwaschmittel und div. Gewürze in der Küche. Sogar die ersten Kaffeekapseln waren vorhanden, einfach wunderbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Einziger negativ Punkt ist der Teppichboden..,

Late check-in was no problem after we let the host know in advance. We were lent the power socket adaptor. Very smooth check-out. No shortage of any supplies for a week, we were also given a guest card of the town, that qualified us for example to get a discount on the cableway. Two toilets is actually a nice idea. This is the fourth time we have rented this unit over the years. It is VERY dated but the position in the village is perfect. I was very disappointed that soap for the bathrooms and additional toilet paper was not supplied. That may seem like a small thing but at the price we paid; and for a 20 day rental, I believe they should have been supplied.
