In Winter: please take snow chains, 4x4 car recommended in winter. Parking at the house, single garage at the house. Cosy, family-friendly holiday village and mountain health resort with 1'700 inhabitants 4 km from lake, on a plateau, in an idyllic position with beautiful view, 60 km east from Zürich, 35 km south-east from Rapperswil. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, butchery, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, folklore evenings, concerts, evening entertainment, museum, attractions. Indoor aquatic centre, sauna, massage. Besides: doctor. Access: motorway A3 Zürich - Chur, exit number 45 "Weesen-Amden". Then road Weesen - Amden. Access via a good mountain road. Access by train Zürich - Ziegelbrücke - Chur. Railway station "Weesen". Bus connection. Glarus 20 km. Sargans 35 km.

All watersports available in Weesen 5 km. Sandy beach, 400 m long, up to 40 m wide, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children. Stoney beach, 160 m long, up to 30 m wide, gently shelving, with beach facilities, suitable for children. Rocky beach, 300 m long, up to 20 m wide, steeply sloping, with beach facilities. Bathing bay, 100 m long, up to 30 m wide, steeply shelving, with beach facilities. Diving, sailing, surfing, sailing school, water skiing, canoeing, rowing. Wat een prachtig uitzicht !Patrick L.

We vonden het appartement super net, en werden persoonlijk ontvangen door de huiseigenares voor sleuteloverdracht. Er is weliswaar een TV-kamer, maar we raden iedereen vooral de grote, levensechte breedbeeld-TV op het eraas. Wat een uitzicht ! Ideale plaats voor wandelingen, of bezoekjes aan het mooie meer.
