If you are planning a beach holiday in Carinthia, the months of June to September are ideal. In midsummer, Lake Klopein warms up to 29 degrees Celsius. The average air temperature in July and August is 23 degrees Celsius. From April to August, 10 or 11 hours of sunshine per day can be expected. The wettest month is May with 17 days of precipitation. The most snow falls in February with 10 days. With a maximum temperature of 0 degrees, January is the coldest month.
