Veneto - Climate
Due to the large geographical differences, the climate in Veneto also varies significantly at times. The Po Valley with Verona and Padua, as well as the coast with Venice, tend towards a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. In the north, in the Dolomites, however, there are cold winters with a lot of snow – and a thriving ski culture. The best travel time therefore strongly depends on the type of vacation. For swimming in the sea, the period from June to the end of September is ideal. For hiking, spring and autumn are suitable, while cultural trips are possible all year round.
