62 m a.s.l. >>Pescia is the main town in the Nievole valley with various buildings from the Middle Ages. The region is known for its flower cultivation, this is where the "Biennale del Fiore" takes place, a flower market/exhibition of international importance. Important, historical resort with 17'500 inhabitants, in the northern part of the region, in a valley, situated at the foot of the Appenin, on a river, 25 km north-east from Lucca, 30 km north-west from Pistoia, 58 km north-west from Firenze. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Thermal bath oder hot springs, health cures at 8 km.

Die Unterkunft liegt am oberen Rand der Toscan. Dementsprechend sind die Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten recht weit. Die Küchenausstattung ist recht spartanisch. Hier würden ein paar mehr Gläser, Teller und Besteck, die Lage verbessern. Ein Bachofen wäre auch wünschenswert. Die angrenzenden Nachbarhäuser und deren Außenflächen, sind sehr dicht dran. Somit ist man anders, als auf den Fotos zu erwarten, nicht allein auf dem Areal. Es hat uns aber dennoch sehr gut dort gefallen.

Mitten in den Bergen liegt dieses kleine idyllische Häuschen, das mit seiner großen Fensterfront einen unbezahlbaren Blick auf die Berge der Toskana bietet. Die Ausstattung ist solide, aber beinhaltet alles was man benötigt. Wer Ruhe sucht wird hier fündig, allerdings sollte man keine Angst vor kleineren Bewohnern der Toskana (Käfer, Eidechsen etc.) haben. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist über einen teilweise steilen Schotterweg und daher etwas abenteuerlich. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich.

Unsere Unterkunft hatte einen wunderschönen Ausblick, den wir jeden Morgen beim Frühstück genossen haben. Für alle die mal Abstand vom Alltagsstress brauchen und die Natur lieben ist diese Unterkunft eine gute Adresse.

Für einen ruhigen Urlaub abseits vom Trubel, genau das richtige. Die Unterkunft entspricht den Bildern. Nur der Weg zum Haus und Pool ist beschwerlich da es sich zum Teil um einen steilen sehr schmalen Schotterweg handelt. Vom Haus aus sind Ausflüge in der Umgebung sehr gut erreichbar. ZB Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Pistoia, Siena, Florenz, sogar ans Meer zum Baden ist in Viareggio bzw Forte dei Marni, ca. 1 Stunde Fahrdauer, möglich.

Das Haus liegt wunderschön mit weitem Blick ins Pescia-Tal. Die Ausstattung ist sehr praktisch und enthält alles, was man zum Leben braucht.

Das Haus entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Der Fahrweg, zum größten Teil Schotterpiste, ist fahrtechnisch etwas anspruchsvoll, aber machbar. Wunderschöne Lage mit weitem Blick ins Pescia-Tal. Mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht.

Das Haus sieht exakt so aus. In der Vorsaison bezahlbar, nicht beschrieben, war der beschwerliche, lange und stellenweise unbefestigte Weg dorthin. Das Haus liegt am Berg, wer Stille sucht, wird fündig.

Insgesamt war die Unterkunft sehr gut. Unbezahlbarer Ausblick, die Größe für 2 Personen ausreichend. Es führt eine relativ schmale/ steile Treppe vom Obergeschoss ins Untergeschoss.
