Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains and Jungfrau. Facilities: baby cot, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: suitable for families. Non-smokers only.

Cable car, skisport facilities 600 m, children's playground 300 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

1'274 m a.s.l. >>Famous, idyllic, car-free holiday resort with 1'300 inhabitants, on top of a hill, situated at the foot of a mountain, on a plateau with beautiful view, 12 km from Interlaken, 15 km from Grindelwald. In the resort: shops, grocery, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant, night club, cinema. Wellness centre. Besides: doctor. Sights Männlichen, Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Trümmelbachfälle, Schynige Platte, Harder, First. Access: no access to the resort by car, reachable only by railway. The journey is made by rack railway (extra) from Lauterbrunnen. Parking spaces available at the train station.

Summer

Heated outdoor swimming pool. Tennis (2 outdoor courts). Minigolf. Paragliding. Mountain lifts, cableways, hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing, children's hiking paths. Mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground.

Ski-region Jungfrau-Top Ski Region, total of 43 lifts. Total 213 km ski runs (30 % easy, 50 % intermediate, 20 % difficult), snow park. Ski school (downhill), snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten. Winter walking paths 50 km. 4 toboggan runs. Artificial ice rink, curling. Free parking space for skis and ski boots at Central Sport.

A lovely walking holiday in WengenJan O.

We had fabulous views of the mountains from our first floor balcony where we were able to entertain our friends to drinks in the evening. The internet service was very good enabling me to log on for a board meeting in London. The kitchen was ok if a little tight if all four of us wished to breakfast at the same time. The lift was a nice bonus.

Had an excellent holiday in this lovely, clean, comfortable apartment. A short walk from the main station, the last part of the walk is steep uphill. In a very quiet location, with stunning views from the balcony. So relaxing to view the mountains from the comfort of the sofa. Would happily book again for another stay.

We spent great 10 days in this apartment. It is large enough for a family with several children and has everything needed. It is very warm in winter and has breathtaking views year around. Would definitely stay here again.
