Dittishausen - Must-see attractions
Dittishausen Local History Museum
The Dittishausen Local History Museum in Löffingen is located in the former local history room of the vocational teacher Karl Ehret. Here he exhibited a skeleton from the 7th century and Roman coins. Since 1990, the museum has been open to the public again. Nowadays, the Dittishausen Local History Museum mainly serves to exhibit mineral and fossil finds from the nearby Wutach Gorge. Particularly impressive are the mammoth teeth. Additionally, objects such as swords, rifles, and finds from an Alemannic grave can be admired.
Wutach Gorge
The Wutach and its tributaries offer a unique backdrop during a hike. You can park your car at the Schattenmühle. The hiking bus takes you to the Wutachmühle. From there, you hike back to the parking lot. The steep cliffs of the Wutach Gorge rise up to 180 meters. It provides a habitat for more than 500 species of butterflies. You might also discover a rare orchid. Up to 30 species of the enchanting plant grow in the Wutach Gorge.
Feldberg
At a height of 1,495 m, the Feldberg offers magnificent panoramas from the summit. Around the mountain, there are numerous well-marked high-altitude hiking trails where you can enjoy the view. You can reach the top faster with the Feldbergbahn to a height of 1,450 m. In the cold season, the snow-sure ski area Feldberg attracts winter sports enthusiasts from all over Germany. Sunny slopes of all difficulty levels, snowboarding, or snowkiting provide fun and action. With the numerous lift systems, you can comfortably go back up after the descent.
Schluchsee
With the lake circular path and the hunter's trail, the Schluchsee, located at an altitude of 930 m, is popular with all those who want to enjoy the view of the idyllic waters from the Amalienruhe with its small pavilion or the Riesenbühlturm. In the summer months, the Aqua Fun adventure pool located at the Schluchsee offers bathing fun in the cool water with its 105 m long water slide and the current channel. The outdoor pool has direct lake access. You can relax with the family on the large sunbathing lawn.
Triberg Waterfalls
The water of the Gutach River rushes down the Triberg Waterfalls over seven cascades into the valley. From a footbridge, you can feel the spray of the falls on your skin and take spectacular photos. The waterfalls are illuminated until 10 PM. Three well-marked paths lead around the natural spectacle. A visit to the Triberg Waterfalls can be combined with a detour to the Black Forest Museum, the photo backdrops of Triberg Fantasy, or the Black Forest miniature world of Triberg-Land, which are included in the entrance fee for the waterfalls.
Tatzmania Löffingen - Black Forest Park
The main attractions at Tatzmania Schwarzwaldpark are, of course, animals. Predators like lions and tigers, numerous ungulates, as well as other species like zebras, monkeys, and birds are housed here. Many animals can be particularly well observed during the daily feedings. For more action, various rides such as a roller coaster, a panorama freefall tower, or a wave swinger are available. On the barefoot path, you get very close to nature. In the beer garden, Erongo restaurant, and at kiosks, you can refresh yourself in between.

Kirnberg Lake
The Kirnbergsee in Unterbränd is considered the warmest swimming lake in the Black Forest. It was dammed around 100 years ago for power supply and today attracts visitors with picturesque beaches and an extensive network of hiking trails. Ruins of Alt-Urach Castle

Day 1
Your vacation in Dittishausen takes you to a small village in the High Black Forest, which belongs to the town of Löffingen. Day 2
The second day in Dittishausen is all about hiking pleasure in the High Black Forest. A spectacular destination is the nearby Rötenbach Gorge. Day 3
On day 3, the family vacation in Dittishausen becomes sporty and animal-filled. In the cold season, the Dittishausen ski lift with a platter lift offers a small but fine opportunity for fast descents on skis and snowboards.
