Dittishausen Local History Museum

The Dittishausen Local History Museum in Löffingen is located in the former local history room of the vocational teacher Karl Ehret. Here he exhibited a skeleton from the 7th century and Roman coins. Since 1990, the museum has been open to the public again. Nowadays, the Dittishausen Local History Museum mainly serves to exhibit mineral and fossil finds from the nearby Wutach Gorge. Particularly impressive are the mammoth teeth. Additionally, objects such as swords, rifles, and finds from an Alemannic grave can be admired.

Wutach Gorge

The Wutach and its tributaries offer a unique backdrop during a hike. You can park your car at the Schattenmühle. The hiking bus takes you to the Wutachmühle. From there, you hike back to the parking lot. The steep cliffs of the Wutach Gorge rise up to 180 meters. It provides a habitat for more than 500 species of butterflies. You might also discover a rare orchid. Up to 30 species of the enchanting plant grow in the Wutach Gorge.

Schluchsee

With the lake circular path and the hunter's trail, the Schluchsee, located at an altitude of 930 m, is popular with all those who want to enjoy the view of the idyllic waters from the Amalienruhe with its small pavilion or the Riesenbühlturm. Triberg Waterfalls

The water of the Gutach River rushes down the Triberg Waterfalls over seven cascades into the valley. From a footbridge, you can feel the spray of the falls on your skin and take spectacular photos. The waterfalls are illuminated until 10 PM. Three well-marked paths lead around the natural spectacle. A visit to the Triberg Waterfalls can be combined with a detour to the Black Forest Museum, the photo backdrops of Triberg Fantasy, or the Black Forest miniature world of Triberg-Land, which are included in the entrance fee for the waterfalls.

Tatzmania Löffingen - Black Forest Park

The main attractions at Tatzmania Schwarzwaldpark are, of course, animals. Day 1
